Lauren Pelster
Occupational Therapist

Lauren was born and raised Nebraska. She attended Sacred Heart University in CT where she earned a Bachelors in Health Science and a Masters in Occupational Therapy.
She was first introduced to OT in high school while volunteering at summer day camps serving children and adults with special needs. She saw directly how OTs helped individuals to increase their participation in fun camp activities like swimming, arts and crafts, and games. She also has traveled to Guatemala to provide OT services in a local clinic and a special needs school, including building customized wheelchairs.
Lauren loves how OT helps people to do the necessary and meaningful things in life, all while making it fun! She brings her experiences, innovative ideas, and a love for OT to the BPHT team. She loves working with children and is excited to help them gain more independence in their daily lives.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys golfing (she played on a Division I team in college), hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and exploring Washington State.
