Kristen Zorn
COTA
Kristen grew up in the Pacific Northwest, then earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Azusa Pacific University in California. She first shadowed an Occupational Therapist while studying abroad in South Africa and has wanted to pursue OT since then.
After graduating college, Kristen worked at a respite care center for children with intellectual disabilities in Washington DC. After moving back to WA, she served at Seattle Children’s as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist. In this role, she worked alongside doctors, nurses, OTs, and psychiatrists teaching kids coping skills, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation through group sessions.
Kristen graduated from the OT Assistant program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. She can be found in the BPHT Hand Clinic serving as a COTA.
In her free time, she loves hiking, cooking, and going for walks and bike rides with her dog and husband.
