Meet Our Staff

Garrett Wilkes

Speech-Language Pathologist

Garrett has lived in many states across the US, as well as in Santiago, Chile. He attended BYU in Utah, majoring in Communication Disorders with a minor in Spanish. He has additional training in sensory feeding therapy and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC). Garrett is fluent (and can treat) in Spanish as well as English.

Growing up with a sibling with Autism exposed Garrett to the work of therapists and the Autism community at an early age. In college, he found a passion for combining the skills of linguistics and healthcare to help people with disabilities. Before coming to BPHT, Garrett worked at a private pediatric therapy clinic in Moses Lake.

As a therapist, he loves getting to know patients and adapting sessions to their individual skills and interests. Garrett enjoys educating parents on ways to advocate for their children. He looks forward to supporting the clinic and the team from his experiences with Autism while learning from the other therapists’ unique perspectives.

In his spare time, Garrett loves to play board and video games, hike, travel and eat good food. He is a self-proclaimed nerd and makes his own cosplays for attending the local Comic Con.
