Meet Our Staff

A graduate of Purdue University in Indiana, Danny moved to Washington state after receiving a Master of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. He has experience working with children who have a variety of communication difficulties, including stuttering, articulation/phonology, receptive/expressive language, and difficulty with social skills. In the summer of 2013 he completed an internship at the Craniofacial Center at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he developed his clinical skills in working with children who have resonance and articulation disorders related to cleft palate and other craniofacial conditions. Danny also has experience working with children who stutter. He believes in a holistic approach to stuttering treatment, working to help children increase fluency as well as manage anxiety, peer relationships, and emotional issues related to stuttering.

Danny received a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa in 2006. He enjoys traveling and has lived in several places across the United States, including Kentucky, Florida, and Hawai’i. He has also lived abroad, spending time in Canada and in Japan, where he learned to speak Japanese. In his spare time, Danny enjoys hiking/backpacking and playing card and board games.
