We are a therapist-owned clinic, in business for 18 years, located in the heart of beautiful Bothell, WA. Our respected team of OT’s, PTs and SLPs serve in habilitation/rehab services and promote independence of our patients. We have the opportunity to work closely with caregivers in the continuum of care for meaningful patient outcomes.

About our OT Services: Our OT’s serve children from infancy through adolescence. Common conditions served include developmental delays related to a variety of diagnoses that may include Autism, sensory processing disorder, central nervous system injuries, metabolic conditions, congenital anomalies, brachial plexus injuries, genetic syndromes, feeding difficulties, and more.

Treatments Include: sensory integration to include listening programs and oculomotor treatments; activities of daily living, fine motor development, augmented handwriting, social skills, home exercise activities, adaptive equipment, feeding therapy (Sequential Oral Sensory Integration), parent education, and teacher collaboration.

We have a beautiful facility and a great team conducive to a gratifying work environment. Job Description:

Primary Function:

Responsible for following supervisor’s instructions involving patient care, organization, and clean-up of treatment areas, and office duties, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions):

• Assists patients to treatment area and helps prepare patient for treatment as appropriate.*
• Communicates with supervisor and other health care interdisciplinary team members regarding patient’s response to treatment.*
• Keeps treatment areas clean, organized and unobstructed. Cleans equipment after treatment and changes linen as appropriate.*
• Maintains adequate supply inventory for clinic and organizes treatment area.*
• Helps with copying and printing home exercise programs.
• Answers telephones, takes messages, checks messages and assists with patients at front desk.*
• Demonstrates ability to use information technology in completing assigned job tasks.*
• Processes incoming therapy orders.
• Schedules patient appointments. Places reminder calls to new patients and follow-up patients. Documents no shows and cancellations. Print schedules for next day and distributes to therapists.*
• Distributes patient satisfaction surveys.
• Demonstrates effective communication methods either written, verbal, non-verbal or electronic. Follows up with front office related issues using the appropriate chain of command. Has a positive influence on others.*
• Listens to and acknowledges the concerns of patients and co-workers. Communicates effectively with patients and co-workers exchanging information and opinions constructively. Treats all patients with respect.*
• Exercises good judgment in communication with regard to timing, circumstances, place and person. Does not breach patient confidentiality.*

• Uses protective equipment and takes appropriate precautions whenever there is a potential for contact with blood, body fluids, and/or chemicals. Maintains an organized, clean, and functional workspace.*
• Follows policy when accidents occur. Ability to cite emergency evacuation procedures and location of fire extinguishers for the clinic.*
• Employees will not be discourteous or disrespectful to a customer or any member of the public while in the course and scope of company business.*
• Work in a cooperative manner with management/supervision, coworkers, customers and vendors.*
• Abide by company policies.*
• Attend work regularly as scheduled.*

Education Required:

High School Diploma

Opening: Part-time; includes some Saturdays. Must be available to work flexible schedule. (Hiring for 2 positions)
