Mobility is a key ingredient to remaining active and independent throughout our lives. Every October is National Physical Therapy Month, a celebration held every October by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) to raise awareness of and recognize the important roles that physical therapists (PTs) and physical therapy assistants play in people’s lives.
At BPHT, we celebrate the talents and expertise of our Pediatric PTs all month long. This is our unique opportunity to highlight the fact that we are your trusted experts in developing, restoring and improving mobility in the lives of children. We are your specialists in treating various disabilities from developmental delays and genetic disorders to torticollis and neuromuscular disorders, and we can improve quality of life.
Celebrate with us! Look for the Blue Feet highlighting patient success stories or share your personal success story; you can submit them by e-mail to KaitlinM@BPandHT.com or at our front desk. Check out Facebook for daily tips and facts from our PTs.
Do you know how aquatic therapy can help children? No? Then don’t forget to attend Ask the Expert: How to Make Moving Fun for Kids on October 29th! Meet two of our PTs and learn about our Aquatic Therapy program and how to create fun exercises you can use at home to keep children engaged while strengthening their bodies.
At BPHT, our goal is to develop, improve and restore motion in the lives of children. As you make the important decisions about health care for you and your family, remember the important role that physical therapists play.
